When you see that someone is "Online" you can assume that person is currently active in a social media. There are many ways to know if someone is active. For example, in Whatsapp, you can see the "Online" tag bellow a contact's name. In Facebook and Instagram, there is a green dot next to the username. Those are the clearest examples. But, there are other ways like notifications of someone's interaction with the platform like doing a live, commenting, giving a like, sharing something, or sending a message. So, what is the best way of being online? I would say the best way is by not letting this state of modern existing control you. We all have heard about how excesses can be negative by turning into an addiction. Well, being Online is a clear example. There is nothing wrong on being Online to communicate with other people, or enjoy your free time, but there are limits that the user must follow to prevent an addiction or a misuse.
We all know Tony Stark is Iron Man. But, why am I referring specifically to Tony Stark in this analogy instead of Iron Man? Because before Tony Stark turned into Iron Man, he has always had the most modern technology and intelligence in his domain. At the beginning of his life, he sold those advances to military powers. But, after life-threatening experiences, he started noticing how people can negatively abuse from new technology causing a bad impact to humanity. Overtime, he was trying to control those advances in technology, however, some people just did not understand and insisted on the misuse of technology. I know that being Online does not, neccesarily, open the opportunity to destroy humanity, but a misuse like cyberbullying can affect someone's life, or an addiction can cause you miss important things of your life like the last dinner you will have with your grandparents.
Rules and control measures can sound boring, but they can actually save your and someone's life.
